Mind Body Soul Studios is offering Calisthenics training classes. Also referred to as “street workouts” or “body weight exercises”, the calisthenics work out will get you fit, flexible, strong to the core and in the best shape of your life.
Anyone with the desire to train with the proper techniques, form and conditioning while achieving and maintaining their fitness goals should come and work out with us!
Our classes are 1.5 hours long and will emphasize strength and core conditioning, flexibility, correct posture, alignment and techniques. In each class we will introduce a new element in this type of exercise. Some elements include chin ups, pull ups, hand stands, beat swings, pistol squats, L-sits, muscle ups, rings work, flexibility techniques, posture and alignment awareness.
Participants will have time during the class to work on their own goals and will be assisted by the trainer. An integral part of achieving any posture or movement is to “layer” the exercise progression so you are successful in achieving your goals. For example, if you want to learn a handstand, your posture has to be correct and strength has to be built in the correct muscles first. We will help build a proper foundation from which you can be successful.
